What to Know: Autism & Developmental Disability Resources & Advocacy

Description

Find out about important resources for children and adults with autism and intellectual or other developmental disabilities (I/DD). These resources come from schools, the state, and the North Carolina community that supports people with autism and I/DD. You will also learn ways to advocate for yourself, your child, and the autism and I/DD community. This information is helpful if you or someone you love has a developmental disability.

You will learn about:

  • Key developmental disability services & supports
  • Transitioning from school to adulthood
  • Advocating for your child or yourself

This in-person session, hosted by NCCDD and Work Together NC, will be held at:
