Join lawmakers for a legislative session focused on the needs of individuals and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The I/DD Caucus will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 11 to 1 pm at the Legislative Building. You are also invited to a Welcome Event with L'Arche North Carolina before going to the Capitol. You can participate in both events or attend the one you prefer. Registration is not required, but space will be limited.
This year's Caucus will address key issues involving I/DD supports and services, including the waiting list, the workforce, and funding. Be part of the discussion shaping policies that impact community living, independence, and essential supports.
Participants can schedule meetings with legislators before or after the Caucus. Go to https://www.ncleg.gov/findyourlegislators to reach out to your legislator.
