The Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) is sponsoring 20 North Carolina parents to attend the 2025 Wrightslaw Special Education Law & Advocacy Virtual Conference. ECAC will cover the full registration cost to attend this event. ($170 value!)
The event will be held September 18, 2025 from 9:00am to 4:30pm ET. This is a rare and fantastic opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and tools to advocate for your child’s education — at no cost to you.
Topics that will be covered are:
- Special education law
- Tests and measurements
- Smart Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Effective advocacy tactics
Approved applicants will receive:
- Access to the full-day Zoom Webinar
- Three Wrightslaw books (Special Education Law, 3rd Ed., From Emotions to Advocacy, 2nd Ed., All About IEPs)
- Access to the PowerPoint presentation and other materials )
- Attendees will also receive a link to download the pdf versions of the books

- Must be a North Carolina parent, guardian, or caregiver of a child or youth with a disability or special health care need.
