The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities has a contract with the NC MH/DD/SAS to conduct the National Core Indicators Surveys (consumer and family). CIDD is looking to hire 35-50 interviewers across the state to interview adult consumers of services from the Division based on a random sampling of potential respondents. This requires a face-to-face interview with the consumer (and with a proxy if the consumer is unable to complete the questions).

Interviewers are hired through UNC and paid per interview. Family surveys are mailed directly to family/guardians. We'd like to broaden our pool of interviewers and prefer that they have experience with and/or are family members of individuals with IDD. We are always in need of additional interviewers in the far east and west regions as well as south central NC.
