When it comes to safe and engaging places for those who are Intellectual and Developmental Delayed (I/DD) and those with other cognitive disabilities the options in certain areas of Greensboro, NC are nonexistent. By creating an indoor play area with soft toys, condition appropriate playground areas, and wheel chair inclusive activities, The Missing Piece will be able to create an inclusive and safe environment for the overlooked population of special needs children. We will provide a supervised interactive kids play space that provides educational entertainment for (I/DD) children, while allowing a relaxing environment for parents.
