Description

North Carolina individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities (I/DD) and family members can apply for funding to attend the National APSE Conference from the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD)! (Funds are for reimbursement only).

National APSE is the only national membership organization focused exclusively on Employment First to facilitate the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace and community. Their annual conference provides top-notch training and networking opportunities while bringing together individuals with disabilities and their families, organizations, and others working toward ensuring Employment First is a success.

Financial support to attend the National APSE Conference is available through the NCCDD Jean Wolff-Rossi Fund for Participant Involvement. For this event only, NCCDD has expanded the amount it can reimburse to $1,200 per person/per household. There are limited slots. If you are interested, you must apply to NCCDD. NCCDD can only reimburse approved participants after attendance at the event.
