NCCDD Launches Conversations with the Council

NCCDD has launched a new monthly video series called "Conversations with the Council" featuring Council members sharing about their advocacy and Council work, peppered with personal stories about their journey in the world of intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities (I/DD).

The inaugural episode featured Allison Dodson and Ryan Rotundo, sibling advocates who shared what it means to go from sibling and friend to caregiver. In the next episode, parent advocates Darcy Hildreth and Kerri Eaker discussed services and supports and how the Council has helped them educate others and become stronger advocates for their children over the years.
The episodes release on the last Tuesday of every month.
