CFED Assets Learning Conference is offering scholarships for persons with disabilities to attend the upcoming conference in September in Washington, DC. Below is additional information if you or someone you know might be interested in attending.
At the 2016 Assets Learning Conference in Washington D.C., CFED is proud to be part of the Accessible Conference Initiative. For this effort, the World Institute on Disability, in partnership with JPMorgan Chase & Co., is actively striving to make community development and policy conferences more accessible to, and inclusive of, people with disabilities.
To spearhead movement toward full-inclusion, JPMorgan Chase & Co. is providing four Assets Learning Conference scholarships for people with disabilities who are interested in issues surrounding economic inclusion.
Scholarship recipients, called "Disability Ambassadors," will receive complimentary registration, hotel accommodations, and travel, as well as disability accommodations from the World Institute on Disability team. Applicants should have disability advocacy experience and interest in economic inclusion. Please let us know if you or any or your members or partners are interested in this opportunity.

About the Assets Learning Conference:
Every other year, the ALC brings together 1,300+ professionals dedicated to creating an opportunity economy in the United States. With financial insecurity and inequality at all-time highs, now is the time for these service providers, advocates, researchers, philanthropists and others to come learn from each other about the products, policies and partnerships needed to ensure all families can achieve their dreams. As the only event of its kind to address the entire range of moments that affect an individual's or family's financial well-being, the ALC offers sessions about savings for adults and children, entrepreneurship and self-employment, homeownership, strategies to close the racial wealth divide, the integration of financial capability services and more. With all the ALC has to offer, there's something for everyone.
