Welcome to NCCDD’s new website!

This new site brings together the I/DD community to learn about getting involved in events, advocacy and the Council! As the Council promotes integrated and inclusive communities across the State of North Carolina, we want this website to be a place where the community can find their voice and get involved to help us continue our mission.

The website’s newest features are highlighted below – each number corresponding to the numbered section. Thanks for visiting and come back often!

1. Simple and Responsive Website adjusts to different devices - from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones and is 508 compliant.

2. New Navigation Bar has seven categories with drop down menus allowing you to get more specific information.

3. Rotating Banners highlight timely programs and events and let you to click to quickly more details.

4. Icons under the home page banner highlight the Council’s most important messages. Check out What’s New? and more!

5. New Blog – Hot Topics is constantly updated with the Council initiatives and happenings across the State. You can search the blogs by category or read the latest posts on the home page.

6. Calendar/Upcoming Events is filled with upcoming activities across the State. If there is an event coming up and it’s not listed, send it to NCCDD. There are lots of ways to access the calendar – icon on top of the page or the navigation bar.
