Abilities Tennis Volunteer Training

Description

Millbrook Exchange Park, 1905 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh

Our training session gives volunteers information about the Abilities Tennis program, your role as a volunteer, Abilities Tennis guidelines, and information on how to work with athletes with intellectual disabilities. We will discuss in detail how to work on the court with people with intellectual disabilities and go over a typical clinic, including how to assist with basic ball and racquet drills. At the end of the training, you will participate in a "real" clinic with the Abilities Tennis athletes for on-the-job training. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/abilities-tennis-volunteer-training-tickets-473496880917?aff=ebdssbdestsearch
