Research Findings & Policy Solutions to Address the NC Registry of Unmet Needs

Former NCCDD member Christina Dupuch and Sarah Pfau from Cansler Collaborative Resources and Dr. Michelle Franklin from the Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy have spent the past year researching the Registry of Unmet Needs to better understand who is on the Registry, how many people are on it, how people qualify for it and how the Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations (LME/MCOs) manage it. They have also researched how other states have addressed waiting lists for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (I/DD) to receive services.
